MALTA – Mohawk Chevrolet has announced that Service Advisor Alyssa Corbett has been recognized by the National Automobile Dealer Association (NADA) as a semi-finalist in the 5th Annual Women in Driving Video Contest. The competition, held annually during Women’s History Month, is part of a national initiative to highlight the current voices of women working in dealerships while encouraging other women to pursue careers. in the automobile.
This year’s competition invited these women to share their experiences, how their careers in automotive retailing began and why the industry is a distinguished career path for other women. Alyssa was chosen as one of 10 semi-finalists, beating individuals from over 2,300 dealers. She is the first Mohawk Chevrolet employee to place in the top 10.
Alyssa is successful in her role with 12 years under her belt. Starting out in the industry at 21, she oscillated between sales and service, making her a complete employee. Alyssa will receive a $500 gift card, plus a scholarship for NADA’s Professional Series, a training program aimed at nurturing the talents of dealers working in any dealership department – a value of 2 $995.
